DID YOU KNOW THAT WEB DEVELOPMENT CAREERS AVERAGE $67,000 ANNUALLY?

The Bridge-to-Tech Program is a bridge or “pre-training” program designed to prepare individuals for advanced training in web development and related careers in alignment with NYC’s Career Pathways strategy to support upward mobility and higher job quality for New Yorkers. The program was developed in order to expand access to career pathways in technology which has connected New Yorkers to web development and related employment at an average annualized salary of $67,000.
Bridge-to-Tech provides a part-time, no-cost program to deliver the tech exposure, foundational coding skills, professional skills, and career exploration needed for graduates to enter and succeed in occupational training for a range of careers in technology, with a focus on gaining entry to no-cost, high-quality programs like the NYC Web Development Fellowship.

In order to be eligible for the Bridge-To-Tech Pre-Training Program, a candidate must:

• Be proficient in written and spoken English  
• Be a NYC Resident authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have no experience as a professional web developer  
• Have an interest in a career in web development
• Currently earn less than $50,000 per year
