Norma Pujols: Before and after Covid-19
I have an unforgettable memory from my childhood. My grandfather has been dead for many years, but every time I think of him, he seems to be right in front of my eyes. When I was young, I didn’t grow up well enough. I often had colds and fevers sometimes reaching over 39 degrees celsius. One day, when I lived in my grandfather’s house, I had a bad cold and a high fever because in the countryside there was no doctor or medicine. I remember it was the summer of 1953, and I was six years old. At that time, I had a high fever and felt so anxious that grandmother could not help it. Suddenly, my grandfather sat next to me asked, "Poor child what do you want to eat?" My answer: "eat potatoes! My goodness! It is the time when potatoes bloom and grow. Where are the ripped potatoes?" My grandfather stood up and said to me, "let me find it." Not long after my grandfather held in both hands a few white potatoes. He picked some cucumbers too and gave me fried shredded potatoes in big plate. I ate everything and felt comfortable. My fever went away! For several years I was gradually better. My beloved grandfather will always be in my memory.

Lisbeth Sosa: The virus, quarantine, and me
The virus has affected us all globally it is very pain how people die every day I had to stay at home for three months I did not have a job and worried about the situation and my family in Venezuela. I must have adapted to a new lifestyle. To wear a mask I don’t to go a party I don’t see many friends. After I started working I was afraid of going out and contracting the virus.I never failed to comply with sanitary regulations to prevent the spread people should be more responsible with the rules, for example the distancing and the use of the mask. He taught me to see life differently, for example: be patient, change eating habits, practice more sports the three months at home I saw many series and movies, I studied vocabulary in English. And I know this will end and we will all return to our lives and we will be better people. I always ask God for this nightmare to end.
