Gardener Needed

Gardeners perform duties as required, by job order or supervisor's direction, all grounds keeping functions. Must be able to direct and supervise these functions. Ascertaining that they are in compliance with accepted industry standards and with Facilities Operations policy and procedure. Must maintain and make repairs to grounds keeping, snow removal, gardening and irrigation equipment. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of plant health care and demonstrate proficiency in operating all grounds equipment. Performs gardening, pruning, and soil preparations as required. Applies fertilizers and pesticides as necessary. Maintain records to ensure routine compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.  High school diploma or equivalent. Five years as Groundskeeper A or equivalent. Salary range $25.12 - $31.40 per hour
